The University of Greenwich have recently started a Facebook group and Twitter account providing information for all prospective and current disabled university students to help with getting the most out of their time at university.
This group is for disabled and dyslexic people considering going to university, and current disabled students. Although we are UK based, we have members from all over the world. In addition to the students, we have disability researchers, disability practitioners, disabled graduates and assistive technologists as members. The purpose of the group is to provide information and good practice concerning disabled students in further and higher education. All posts are approved before they are posted but please respect each other. All member have to abide by the STAART netiquette agreement.
